How long is the process?
The initial appointment will be approximately 3 hours to ensure all intricate details are taken care of. This time includes consultation, brow mapping, colour selection, and the treatment. We recommend eating several hours before your appointment to ensure you’re well hydrated.
Tip: Don’t drink coffee or alcohol 24 hours before your appointment for the best results
Does it hurt?
These types of tattooing procedures are virtually painless, however pain tolerance varies from person to person. Topical numbing cream and numbing gel is applied throughout the procedure. We ensure you are comfortable every step of the way. Some of our clients take a nap and wake up to beautiful new brows!
What is the healing time like?
Skin is tricky, and every person is different. However, your new brows will typically heal in about 7 to 10 days with proper care. Light shedding of the skin is to be expected. You are sent home with instructions and an aftercare kit.
The colour and pigment of your brows will brighten up and become more saturated up to 14 days after your initial appointment, when fully healed.
With all of our procedures, you can still go out and live your everyday life with no issues.
How long does it last?
The longevity of your new brows can vary person to person and is very dependant on your skin type and daily lifestyle. However, nano brow or powder procedure typically lasts 2-3 years. It slowly fades into a nice brown tint.
What is your sanitization and sterilization process?
All needles and hand tools are single use and come in a sterilized package with a LOT number and expiry date. Each needle is disposed of after each client. Gloves and masks are single use only and worn at all times. All single use items are disposed of after each client. Beds, trays and any surface area are all wiped down after each client with Cavi Wipes.
How is colour chosen?
We colour match the pigment based on your skin type, undertone, and natural hair colour. These are just some of the things we take into consideration when picking your pigment colour to ensure perfectly healed results.
Colour theory principles are applied during this process, and lots of different pigments are mixed to achieve the perfect colour for you.
I have previously microbladed/tattooed brows. Do you do corrections?
Previous work or work done by other artists requires something we call a Colour Correction or Cover Up. When booking your appointment, please send in clear, current photos in natural daylight of your brows, so we can evaluate and proceed with the best solution for you. Unfortunately, not all clients will be eligible for Colour Correction or Cover Up for a variety of reasons and is at the discretion of the artist.
Can I get my brows done if I've had botox?
Yes! Please ensure your botox is done before/after 4 weeks of your brow appointment. Clients should not use hair growth serums, actives, and or Retinol at least 4 weeks before treatment.
Can I workout/sweat after my procedure?
We recommend waiting at least 5 days after your procedure to start working out again to ensure your brows heal. This reduces your risk of infection, and ensures that your sweat does not interfere with the healing process. Salt is found in sweat and is also a natural pigment lightener.
